Welcome to "Mite oboeru aiueo",
Due to the growing number of foreigners using this web site, I have decided to introduce an English version. This site illustrates, through animation, how to write Hirigana and Katakana with the correct stroke order. In order for Hiragana and Katakana to be written accurately, the correct stroke order should be followed. Together let's explore the art of writing Hiragana and Katakana. This web site, "Mite oboeru aiueo", is designed to assist young children learning Hiragana and Katakana.
In Japan, children begin to learn Hiragana and Katakana from about 3 years of age. However, without the correct guidance, children tend to remember some incorrect stroke orders. As a result their Hiragana and Katakana looks peculiar. If a child is left to write in an incorrect style, over an extended period, they will have trouble learning and accepting the correct stroke order later at school.
To help over come this problem, I have introduced an animated Hiragana and Katakana system. This simple system will assist children to learn the perfect stroke order. Thus increasing their understanding of how to write Hiragana and Katakana with ease.
In addition, this web site allows children to study the correct stroke order for numerals and the alphabet. |
